The 'Dog Days' of Camp Life

9:00 a.m.- Camp opens up to the Public
9:30 a.m.- Young Peoples Concert
10:15 a.m.- Influence of German Music during the Civil War
11 A.M.- Take Your Gun and Go: Women in Civil war Era Song
11:30 a.m.- Special Postal Cancellation event ( Until 3 p.m.)
1:00 p.m.- Bringing History to Life through first person Portrayals
1:45 p.m.- Paul Martin III discusses and exhibits his artwork
2:30 p.m.- Patrick Falci A.P. Hill presentation. Mr. Falci will
 also discuss the soon to be released film " Gods
 and Generals ."
3:30 p.m.- Collectible poster signing with artist Patti Ferrara
4 p.m.- The Gettysburg Virtual Visitor tour with David Fair
Note:- camp Demonstrations, living history portrayals,
 Artillery demonstrations, ladies tea, skirmish and
 Period music throughout the day
5 p.m.- Chicken Dinner at the Firehouse. Reenactors,
 musicians, radio broadcast crew and guests will
 be served between 5-5:30 p.m. The public is invited
 to join us at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will cost the public $7.
 Dinner includes half barbecued chicken, cole slaw,
 Potato salad, rolls and fruit punch.
7:30 p.m.- Grand Concert. The concert will be broadcast on
 WRIP 97.9 fm radio. Audience is requested to be seated
 in the concert hall no later than 7:10 p.m. Concert
 tickets are $8 - children $4.
9 p.m.- Candle light tour of the Encampment after concert.

The musicians' tent will be open throughout the weekend with Civil War music CDs,
Gathering memorabilia and other items of interest. A portion of the proceeds from all
event sales will be donated to support the preservation of the NYS Battle Flags.

8:30 a.m.- Pancake Breakfast at the Fire station for a free will
offering
9:30 a.m.- Camp opens up to the Public with prayer ceremony
9:45 a.m.- The Gettysburg Virtual Visitor Tour
10 a.m.- Paul Martin III discusses and exhibits his artwork
11 a.m.- Patrick Falci as A.P. Hill presentation in camp
 Mr. Falci will also discuss the soon to be released
